reverse psychology begging...
... in the generally accepted lame attempt to get all of my pets posted to this website, i thought i'd share a picture of my black labrador, maddie who is the ultimate queen of reverse psychology begging. this picture epitomizes her hilarious skillset of "not quite looking at you" when my wife and i eat our dinner and perhaps watch a movie or a tivo'd show. (omg, don't get me started on what a f**king religious experience tivo is!) she'll sit there, and you can actually watch her head turn away just enough that the whites of her eyes are still on you..... someone needs to create a little pet microphone that translates the little thoughts in her pea sized brain saying,
"i'm not beggin', i'm being good and ... looking... awayyyyyyy..... really"
this just cracks me the hell up. my favorite is when she aims her entire body away from us, then cocks her head just off to the side enough where she damn near goes blind trying to stare at us from the corners of her utmost peripheral vision...

Dottie the vunder-Dalmation isn't quite so devious.....she likes to put her head in your lap and just look up at you with the big browns.
My cat will go so far as to try to whack the food off of my spoon with his paw....when I do go through the trouble of picking a tiny piece off for him...he snubbs it and walks away completely disinterested! I feel like he's really judging me....like he's thinking "How can she eat that crap"
