no, this is not a mazda commercial.
the last time i looked at a calendar it was monday. wow. incredible how things just soar past.
i have worked nonstop this whole week. i cannot believe that it just seems to never stop at times. i work 8-10 hours a day at the office, then come home and work even more on my design - marketing - projects -and sometimes more. what ever happened to time? wow again.

i used to doodle all kinds of characters, images, just things in general. on paper, on a napkin, on whatever i could find. wtf? it's been years since i've even been able to do that. some kind of cruel mental creativity block? stress? dunno, but it sucks fer sure.

what happens somewhere between childhood and adulthood that just wipes these things away? why is it that holding a gi joe action figure used to open a whole world up where the side of a house became a climbing wall for covert operations, and puddles became open seas that had to be crossed... but then POOF! An action figure is either a collectible or a dismissed toy and a puddle to be stepped around or over?

damnit. guess I gotta go do grown up things like pay bills. that really sucks.

You can view it as sign of commitment. Every so often we have to choose our toys that we play with - when that opportunity presents itself. Either way - I honor and salute your commitment to your art - just like a GI Joe.

Be thankful for what is in front of you, it could be gone in a matter of minutes.

Nice advice, other anonymous. Let's push someone out of their downward spiral right into the abyss, shall we?
