.... heads, explosions, and happy lil' stars

so i'm home today. working from home, but starting out about 4 hours late.
i suffer from migraines.
thankfully, i don't get them often, but when i do it's quite a show. lights are on now tho, and some solid sleep has kept the dragon at bay that is threatening to burst out of my skull.

recently, due to flu season, my lil' noggin has been stuffed up, i've coughed some, and it causes some really cool aftereffects when i sneeze. i get these lil' starry sparkles in my vision for about 30 seconds afterwards! it's really quite cool, and either i'm losing my f**king mind, or we all get these and it's just not a normal conversational piece at the dinner table....

wtf are these sparkies? brain cell deaths being projected through my eyes? air bubbles on the surface of my cornea? lil' martians that have colonized my eyeball when i wasn't looking and i just sent a "katrina" whooping down on them?

would someone please tell me i'm not crazy? or at least share what they think this is?
happy sparklies or pending psychosis?

I sneezed today and saw a white fireworks display for about 3o seconds. Now I have a dull headache centered over my right eye. Hmm. I hope I didn't blow out an artery....
