... got over the hump!

.... and finished the dining room floor area! happy hump day everyone! mr puddins is so proud to announce that we've finished this pain in the arse area, and are ready to move on to paint retouching, then the molding around the base of the floors! the fireplace will quite frankly be a nightmare, given that it's not been used since we've lived here, and gawd knows how long prior to us. it's a dirty, grimy spot, and frankly will have to be dealt with one way or another.

i can't wait to get to the kitchen! the last 3 feet of dining room area were completed tonight, and it's cleaning time due to guests incoming this weekend. all forward progress has to stop tho for the next few days due our family coming into town, so i guess it's a well deserved rest.

pic 3 - shot of odd window frame into the great room. i'm planning on constructing a mini bar-like shelf to compliment this "side" of the room... can'tchoo just SEE IT!? :)
