... don't eat the green ones yet
... they're not ripe yet! (a cookie to who knows the movie quote!)
well... girls and boys... i'm totally grossed out to share that my wonderful, exciting and amazing world of sea monkey fun and splendor has been replaced by a remake of, "The Lord of the Flies!" (well, monkeys... whatever)
after loving them, nurturing them, talking to them, even making sure they get the sun's natural rays at the "gelfling's desk" downstairs on extended weekends.. the demented little bastards turned on each other. brother against sister. neighbor against neighbor. no one proved to be safe. i think the father, (and i use that term loosely!) is the only one left. swimming around in endless circles... petting his big fat belly and looking for more victims.
it's really quite sad really. the directions mentioned nothing about the carnage that would/could ensue with these happy lil' sea monkeys. i'm considering writing the company and asking for damages, lost wages due to the uncontrollable shudders, etc.<-- here's a shot what's left of this once happy family.
you'll notice that "daddy's" gone thru a few changes...
as a pet lover, you'll notice that even their pets weren't safe from the horrors of the unspeakable evils of sea monkey dementia.
A) $10.00 green plasticy-aquarium-sea monkey goodness.
B) 5 weeks of fun, raising them, worrying about them.
C) Realizing that boredom apparently equates to ripping each other LIMB BY LIMB in a sea of blood...
priceless.... I'll go call my therapist now...

I like chocolate chip cookies.
oh the poor other sea monkeys! I so enjoyed having them at my window sill! they went all cannibal on each other! Hey, thanks for sharing them though cuz that was the first time I have ever seen them. I didn't think they were real things before. :)
OMG - I had no idea they even did that. Not a learning experience I needed.
