.... zoom zoom zoom

... across the floor with a "MEOWR" and a lil' "phhhhfft?!" (and i swear to gawd: kitty laughter)

it seems that rennovating the dining room space was, in fact, none other than adding for our cats our cats a really really big, flat and smooth jungle-gym. their big thing now is getting all mice toys, feathered toys or anything they can "bat the sh*t out of" and chasing them all around the floor.... gleefully sliding and getting spazzy 'n' poofy simultaneously.

the only warning i got this morning was a 'fwoooosh!' as a gynormously puffed up, spazzed out mr puddins went slipping and sliding by my feet as i walked into the great room to let the pooch out. now understand, my concern is normally just being focused on preventative maintenence to the floor.... hoping in vain that their claws don't tear huge paw-sized gaps everywhere. i never even thought about the laws of physics!

what do i mean by this? well, here's the extent of my maths skills in an attempt to show you the physics issue of a 24lb globally-challenged kitten reaching a level of inertia that had seriously catastrophic results on my backside:

(click to enlarge the thought-provoking Buckaroo-Banzai equation)

mr puddins's gleefull 'fwoooosh!' resulted in my attempt to bank left to safety, which merely caused me to lose my footing and come crashing right down on ma' arse.

so, that's all I got for a friday. a pained arse, 3 deliriously happy kittens who are likely right now practicing the dining room "louge" sport for the next Olympics, and the somewhat uncomfortable thought that mr puddins may indeed be trying to kill me.

Yea, I can't get over the amount of play time that is occuring on the floors now.

I'm still not used to the sounds coming from in there.

HA HA, you fell on your arse! (pointing and laughing) Too bad I didn't get to see it happen but imagining is sufficient. :) OOPS, I mean, oh thats too bad you fell, how great though that you have a new toy for all your animals. Lots of hard work to install but more benefits than you expected!
