... no matter where you go
... there you are. yup. words of wisdom for sure. ever wondered how they know that? i know. freaky. think about it!? just got back from a monday-thursday business trip to boston. a little jet-lagged, plane was stuck on the logan airport for close to 3 hours due to a technical issue. ('course they never tell you that the plane's going to crash, just that there's a technical issue and it's being worked on)
but yeah. i was there. boston. omgawd can i jes' tell you how much i love the people in bawston!? been a long time since i've been there. it's all changed. memories too of course, those of which i'm sure are mine.
attended a CTC seminar. Collabortive Technologies Conference. a really spiffy way of saying, "we have no idea where the hell technology is going, why some of it is so difficult, and why can't i check my email around lunch time every day 'cuz it seems like the 'internet' is always broken?"
really a pretty good event tho. interesting keynote speakers, some good, some bad. being a toastmaster for over 10 years drove me goddamned batty tho. one speaker used, "ahhs, ummms, annnnds, and ya know?'s" about one miiillion times. i could share some of the secret squirrel stuff we all talked about, but then you wouldn't be surprised and overjoyed when the all in one microwave, cell phone, answering machine, dog-walker, and dish washer is released to the general public to make all our lives a better existance.
gotta say, warm people, good people, amazing chowder, (thankees, jack) dunkin doughnut's coffee, italian food to die for, and canoles everywhere. i cried when i had to leave. seriously. fuggitabout-it

I'm glad you are back!!! You were missed by many!
I hope you had an extra bowl of chowder for me. Gawd is that stuff goooooood!!!
Oh yeah!
Glad your back. I am currently sitting in a motel room in Phoenix catching up on blogging. My daughter Adrianne will get in touch with me later this evening.
The big farewell party is tomorrow. May go back to El Paso a day early. Too soon to tell. 'Nuff about me.
I am not too impressed with the idea of your next all-in-one device. My mother would like to have a digital read out for her stove that does not use the colors red, green or blue on a black background. She has very little vision left and what is there is peripheral. She has one hell of a time setting the oven to heat up a TV dinner.
She could also use a TV clickie, i.e., remote control, that has only a power button, volume control and up, down surfing for the channels.
So, big shot, techie boy, any suggestions? Huh? Huh?
I hope you can see me sitting here laughing like hell. The question is serious, only the manner in which it was put is laughable?
Thanks for the comment on my blog. I will share it with Keith. Now I mus check my olther email account. I know there is a note from -b.

Isn't Bean-town great?! Everything is "Revere". I worked with a flight attendant that was from Bawston and would laugh every single time she talked. Cutest girl in the world and would never expect her to have that accent. I do love New England. Great people and great food. Glad to hear you enjoyed yourself! Nice to have you back!
