... i always feel like

... somebody's watchin' meeeee! ahhh, what a great song from the mid 80's. yeah, well... the point to this entry is that now there really is something watchin over us in our lil' world at home! see, there's a certain date coming up that i won't mention, that i don't really like to celebrate anyway, so don't ask the date (following along okay so far, peoplz?) 'cuz i won't tell you; well, wifee disregarded my wishes not to do anything for me. wifee's are allowed to do this apparently and not suffer any ill consequences. (didn't see that in the rulebook!?)

i got home on satgurday after a long toastmaster event of fun learning, friends, and a satisfying mexican lunch with friends and immediately proceeded to go outside to feed the koi fishees in their happy new home. we've still not gone back to the quarry yet to get more slatestone, so i was basically head down, focused and intent on dropping in the koi pellets and retreating to my favorite bench to watch them eat. little did i know that i was in for a surprise! while feeding the fish, i noticed a odd string of what looked like ribbon IN my pond near the water's edge... "what's this?" i thought to myself as my eyes followed the ribbon up to a "happy early ----day!" note tied around this fat dude's neck. i honestly "eep'ed" with joy and simultaneously looked up to the master bedroom window above the pond to see wifee's "shytte-eating GRIN" staring back at me thru the glass. funny thing is, our new guardian looks a lot like mr puddins, dimensionally-speaking.... ;)

"kitten-buddha" now protects our backyard...
our pond is now safe.

i have a smile across my face,
and wifee is cooh.
(even tho she breaks rulz)

thanks for avoiding the obvious, croak. 'jes don't like 'em. and yeah for not having to 'splain why!

- but i have found luvin' for ma' kitten-budda. he smiled at me this AM, ribbon-less and happier as he oversaw my feedin' the fishees.

*snerk
thanks for stopping by Croak.

Happy regards to you on your day of little importance.

Just remember, age is only a number, and I know because I have seen quite a few of those numbers.

Love the Buddha cat. I bet you can also look at a river and make it stand still. It's kinda like seeing the smile on your Koi guardian.

We are so lucky to have married the wifees we have.

Now one of us must get back to work. Lol.
