... ahoy there mateys

... arrrgh! um... yaarrrrgh... yeah.... anyhoo. would you all do me a favor? for those of you who love great writings, outdoors stuff and great peoplz, spend some time over the next few weeks occasionally on my friend's blog. http://lesseroftwoweevils.blogspot.com/

D, of D & L fame from my past writings, has a new love in his life. the lady washington stole this man's heart and has allowed him to grace her lines and deck once over the past year, (as you'll see if you partake in archive readings... HIGHLY recommended for adventures and such!) and now he's had the chance to ride her over the waves once again! (the lady washington was used in the pirates of the carribean movies!)

D's updating the site as often as he can via a cell phone, and he'll likely take many pics and more. he's an incredibly gifted writer, funnier than hell and a true pirate at heart. Stop by, leave some comments as his story unfolds over the next two weeks, and upon his return, he creates a wonderfully updated journal as you'll see with his past entries.

thanks all. I know he'll appreciate it.

Actually the Lady was only in the first Pirates of the Caribbean. But she was also the Enterprise in Star Trek: Generations, which ain't too shabby.

(Hooray for italics!)

Uh oh, I don't think he'll like being called a pirate. ;)

Thanks for the props!! *I* don't mind being called a pirate. At least ashore, anyway. ;)

Lady was featured in Generations, the first Pirates, and a mess of History and Discovery Channel features. More importantly, so was her CREW! One of the major reasons Hollywood loves her so much is because she can provide a full crew (entourage?) to keep her squared away during filming.

Anyway! I've almost completely finished up this last voyage (the last two missing days will be filled in tonight/tomorrow). I'm also going to be adding about a week of entries to last year's trip.
