... take a moment and light a candle
... and send a loved one a note of "get well, love and support." a dear friend, darlene, alerted all of us out here in bloggerland about her son's tragic accident over 2 weeks ago. i want to take a moment and simply ask each and every one of you to please consider going to her site - HERE - and also please consider going - HERE - as well to light a candle of support for her son, Mark.
he was involved in a horrible car accident where he was NOT, i repeat, NOT the driver. he was practically torn in two but somehow managed to struggle through great odds and make it to the street to call for help. Mark needs our help. he's so strong, so vibrant and so in need of our love.
anyone who has been tracking his progress through his mother's site has been moved immensely by her writings about all that's going on. what's a key thing is i have noticed that the blogger community has absolutely rained down onto her sight with such love, support, poetry, song, notes and good tidings that even i feel a change in myself... there is so little good out there at times; take a night and jes' watch the news and you'll see what i mean. this event has drawn so many of us together.
no strangers, no anonoymous entries, no religion. just love and support to a man who needs our energy and a family that is inspired by each and every one of you.
do what you will. but i truly hope you'll take a moment and read Darlene's archives to get caught up and send their whole family your love.
thank you

Thanks for another reminder. I, too, go to her site on a daily basis. I am inspired by their courage and candor.
When the call goes out the caring do respond in a very positive, loving way.
We shall overcome.
