... if you build it (part deux)

... they will come, eh? 'allo fellow bloggervillians. my apologies for being so distant as of late. it's been a hellish couple of weeks at the office, and it'll only get worse before it gets any better. i've been working on a number of projects for my company, and deadlines are looming and stress is... well... bearing me down. i'm pushing thru it all tho, and with the support of my coworkers (they bring me chocolate) and the fact that all this sh*t is unavoidable, i'm wading through it all.

my entry's title is referencing what had better happen trafffic-wise all these projects i'm neck deep in. between a complete re-redesign of our existing company website, (i had already revamped the 13 year old site last year and gave it a fresh new look, including and entire company identity overhaul, logo, look, feel, marketing goodies, etc.) a completely new look and feel for our biggest trade show of the year in november with new 3'x8' banners, etc., (actually rented a real cooh booth contruct with thick paneled walls, nice lighting, shelves, real side walls to hide other vendors on each side... tee hee) and the need to singlehandedly create all new literature for our company's brochure, our INFOSEC business practice, it's been a haul.

here's the cooh thing tho: one of the neato things we do at this event, (aside from build and participate with a sweeeet 10x20 booth at the show) is have an invite only wine & cigar event on the 2nd night. this is a big deal to our federal customers and sponsoring partners... and folks clamor at the door baby! we expect to have about 200-250 folks and it's big business, good times, music, lighting for ambiance, and general goodness all around. here's the invitation i created and finalized today to send out to our clients and special guests...

oh, and did i mention that it's ... well... in Honolulu, Hawaii!? Bwahahahhahhaahaaahaaaa.

i'm accepting applications now for people who think they'd make a great carry-on for the trip. (giggle... kidding, jack, don't submit a resume)

more later, and i'll likely submit to you all some pics of the drawings/layout plans etc for the booth so you can all oog and ahhh, or booo and hisss if you don't like it. cheers for now!

Damn! Does it have to be so early in the month? We will be in Honolulu over Thanksgiving. Oh well, better luck next time.
