... i'm open! i'm open!

... to the idea of this weekend actually being fun. tonight and most of tomorrow will involve another 10 feet of flooring in the extreme makeover dining room/kitchen fiasco, then sunday will involve an actual superbowl party get together. for the record, i still think sports suck major monkey butt and is a complete waste of time. BUT, i admit that i'm a bit torn: my family has some pennsylvania roots and the seahawks have never been to a bowl, so i figured what the hell.

our cruise mates D&L will be there, and our new friend "'da' lil' Gelfling" so this should be interesting. D&L are about as big of fans as wifee and i are... (giggle) and apparently, G is a sports fan and has warned me of her amazing ability to spit obscenities at a large screen TV, jump up and down, and make cute lil' giggly gelfling noises all at the same time. this of course, will likely be more interesting than the game, given that G is about 5'3 tall and just adorable. (yesh, wifee said i could write this part) needless to say this will be interesting...
