... i can relate to 1000
... as in the dollars it's going to take wifee and i to finish our kitchen. yesh, it'll all be finished then, and mr puddins can quit panicking about stepping on screws, nails, paint, grout and more.. but DAMN!, we're tired of this project and jes want it done.
onna brighter note, as i round out my lunch hour here at the home office today (plumbers coming soon to fix my $1000 issue of old sh*t that WAS universal in 1965, and now in 2006, it's apparently barbaric and needs replacements/fixins/luvins) i've reached over 1000 viewers on my site!
what do i win? who sees me and doesn't leave me comments? wtf is that all about? leave comments people! i'm fragile and need luvins. (giggle) anyway, thanks for all the new friends i've made out there in bloggerville... and helloooooo to all you new ones who jes look at this site and wonder wtf i'm smoking.

I didn't realize as a non-blogger I could leave comments. SO THERE! Oh, i guess I didn't really make much of a point *snicker* Anywho, congrats on all the readership, and good luck with your kitchen!
What's with this wtf shytte? 1,000, well aren't you special (lmao). That is so cool. I still haven't decided whether to keep count and learn where the "hits" emanate. Perhaps next week, or not.
Besides, I like to lurk on occasion.
I just know you will be so pleased with the results of the new kitchen. We got word today the the new fence for the patio is still not in. It was shipped from the factory two weeks ago and was supposed to be in this week. Who knows when it will arrive. Ah well, when it does get here we will be so happy. We did take time this afternoon to drain and clean the hot tub. It was about time. Since we got the water conditioning system was installed this week I wonder how it will affect our hot tub enjoyment?
Take care and give wifee, madders and mr. puddins our fond regards. btw, quit smoking. brownies are much better.
ahhh jack, regarding smoking or brownies.. I never inhaled, but damn I sure did eat a lot.
yesh, the comments on liking the results are in. Kitchen is 98% done now that the plumbers took all of our money away and fixed our issues. now we jes' have to do some moving around, securing, and voila! Kitchen's done!
realized jes' how close we really are to being done until i realized late last night that we've forgotten (or jes' put off?) 2 floor transition strips! we need to get those puppies in before the family descends on us for Easter! eek!
hug yer animals in turn for us. maddie jes' looked up at me kinda stoopid-like when I followed your directions. mr puddins is nowhere to be seen....
You might have forgotten the strips. I didn't! :)
I figured one thing at a time and we were rather focused on drip drip drip - now yea, ice cubes out of our freezer again! and let's not even talk about being able to use the dishwasher again. :)
