... it's allll clear now

... i get so confused. before any or all of you say "well, nnnoh duh, it's youuu," lemme explain. i've been "TXT'ing" online since before the pretty screens you all see in front of you even existed. i'm talking puuuuure text baby, scrolling green text (or black, or amber, or gold depending on your shitty monitor back in the early 90's) was ALL the internet was back then. AOL interfaces and all the spiffy stuff we take for granted now was barely a neuron-sparked idea in someone's noggin.

so why is it, after all these years do i find myself constantly getting confuzed with how people TXT one another, or more importantly, ME...? there's all these symbols that are SUPPOSED to mean something that i jes' don't understand! so, i decided to do some online research to clarify what some of these mystery symbols mean that come across my cell phone or instant messenger.

i hope you are all visual-based learners like myself. when i found this doc, it allll became totally clear as to what half this crap means that i seem to see more and more each day. it's all clear now. consider this a public service, peoplz. i'm here to help.
